MCM and EGX could definitely take a few tips from the UK Games Expo! We already knew which carpark to head to when we arrived at the NEC, there were signs from the carpark to the venue, and there were specific members of staff outside the halls offering help to first-timers.

I’d never considered staying in the future but that’s a great idea. We checked the price of the hotel we usually stay at for the NEC for an event last year and found that its prices had increased by over £100 a night…

Remember that feeling of being lost at MCM, maybe some form of cosplay guides for first timers 🤔]]> Always love a reason to visit Birmingham though you are right, the prices around the NEC spike for events, like Excel as well. We tend to stay in the city centre as its only a 5 minute train to the NEC and is usually a fraction cheaper 🤷‍♂️
