Oh, I definitely understand this. I can be a perfectionist at work so my default state is to try and do everything myself. I know I need to start relying on others in my team more but as you say, it can be difficult sometimes.

Hopefully we’ll both get there this year!

Similar to you, the office only started feeling normal again this week! I hope it’s going okay and you aren’t being given too much.

I am not entirely sure how your team is structured, but I personally have definitely attempted to feel less guilty when I share work with colleagues, as it can be tempting to think it’s best if I do everything myself. Sometimes I look back on past jobs and think I was definitely stressing myself too much for what the job was, but can be difficult to take that step back in the moment.

Last week wasn’t too bad, but I’m a bit worried about how this week is going to go in terms of work. Things will properly kick off today now that most people are back from annual leave and so it may become more difficult to say no as tasks increase and deadlines are agreed. But I guess that means it’s even more important to do so too! I’m happy to take any advice that anyone has regarding sticking to this resolution. 🙂

All these goals are very exciting, I hope it all goes well 🙂
