I think I just had a choice between 2 games with high production value. No backouts, we contune to swap with choosing. 😉

The best one we’ve had so far – and it was picked by you, so I think we might need to continue that after my bad choices of Atlantis and Chronomaster. 😆

But that doesn’t have to be a bad thing. The reason things become labelled as such is because they’re used and seen often. And the reason they’re used often is because they have been proven to work. And they work astonishingly well in this game.
The music, intro, setting, characters, monologues, dialoges, story, mood, jokes, visuals, etc. are all things we’ve seen before in noir/detective movies, games, novels etc., but there’s good and bad examples. This is a good one. I agree that I’d have loved to play this back in the day, with more time on my hands. My only real frustration comes from my own time management and impatience, which is not a fault of the game. As with so many games, they were meant to be played for days and hours to explore, not to be rushed through on a stream.
I agree this is the best one we’ve had so far.
